Meeting Notes (Minutes):

Members Present: Hans Baierl (Moraine Park Technical College), Michele Matucheski (Ascension Mercy), Claudia Noonan (Bellin).

Michele brought the Membership List so that members present could make their updates. It was determined that even though our membership is dwindling, members still value talking to other Librarians in FRVALC for networking, sharing and problem-solving opportunities. Often we are the only Librarians in our institutions. So we will keep the group going, although perhaps less formal than in the past. We will plan on at least 1 gathering a year (maybe 2) in Spring and Fall, but no requirement for CEU. Sharing is enough.

When Cindy Reinl (our long-time treasurer) retired last spring, she donated our remaining treasury to WHSLA.

With only 3 members present, we spent the time doing Member Updates and Open Forum. Claudia is new at Bellin. She's been there for about a year now, after replacing Cindy after her retirement in April 2024.

Hans will be retiring in June, and we wanted to give him a good send-off. We took him out to lunch at a local pub near the Technical College.

Based on the last time [Val Magno] hosted, this would be the suggested agenda:

  * As a congratulations and thanks to Cynthia (Cindy) retirement (graduating from work) party
  * As a business meeting, we can decide if FRVALC should merge into WHSLA
  * We could have a Health Sciences Discussion about AI in Healthcare (Lots going on)
